Growing up and moving out...

Camille is growing up fast.  Well, not any faster than the normal progression of time.  But it seems like it was just yesterday that she was sleeping in a blue sleeping pod between us.

Father and daughter

And then we moved her into the crib that we had sidecarred to our bed.  She was there for 4.5 months.

My little girl

Nursing her at night was so simple.

So near and dear to my heart

We would hold hands sometimes (I'd hold her hand because she would get startled often when she was little).

Holding hands

In January, we detached her crib from our bed...but kept her in the same room with us.

"She looked so lonely!" said Auntie GT

Finally, at 6 months, we moved Camille into her very own room.  We cleared out our former office/guest bedroom and this 2-foot-tall girl is getting her own room.

"Welcome! Welcome to my room, guys!"

It has been a good transition.  I think we felt ready at each stage.

But why does she have to grow up so fast?!

*sigh*
